I recently finished my therapy for a Full Knee Replacement of 13 weeks, mostly 3 x week, and I wished I was still going if my insurance still allowed it, I really enjoyed going. Working with my therapist Mary Westendorf Emmerich, (in which I did not know prior to starting my therapy) only that she married a cousin of my late husband, whom I know that family well, and not why I chose going there. I chose them because they also have a main office in Effingham IL in which I was planning on switching over to them sometime during my therapy, when I got better to be able to see my mom more often like I did prior to surgery. Well, like I stated prior, I enjoyed working with Mary so much and seeing Jamie Winn the office coordinator, enjoyed both of their company. When I started therapy with Mary, I was behind from my in-home therapy, Sara Bush Home Health and not by their fault, it was due to me not having a stronger prescribed pain killer and no muscle relaxer, game changer the second week after surgery getting my meds re-prescribed I could move. Working with Mary, each week I was making some progress, maybe I was slow, but still progress, and I made Mary's goal for myself on the last week. I am still continuing doing my exercises for my knee myself, I purchased a home Total Gym Exercise System, in which I can do alot of my exercises that Mary had me doing, but just not the same, I Miss Those Two New Friends. I highly recommend Dr, Omiyi, M.D.,FAAOS of Sara Bush Lincoln, SBL Bonutti Clinic whom performed my MAKOplasty Robotic Surgery and going to Mary Emmerich, PT, DPT of ProRehab Newton Location, having this kind of educated training of both in smaller towns is like going to a bigger city to achieve. Thank You again you two for putting up with me, LOL!!!!
