I realized this morning when I was doing pre cleaning for my housekeeper that no doubt, working with Dr Chris J at Pro Rehab in Prospect is getting me back to where I need to be. Every month before, I would have to sit down with the heating pad or massager after completing half a room then going back. This morning, dang, I’m thru it in no time without any sitting. I don’t even need the heating pad now. Still have a long ways to go before I’m where I want to be, sitting in court and at the office still is a challenge, not yet lifting or doing cardio as I’d like but I’m so happy with my progress and I’ll continue. Chris is exactly what I needed to help get my back pain under control along with the injections. I’m on the road to a better quality of life. I may even be able to sit thru the UK Auburn game 3/1. Right now that’s the goal. Thanks Chris & Pro Rehab

I have been battling TMJ for some time now and Ed at ProRehab has been the ONLY person who has been able to give me relief! I feel like a new person when leaving. Ed is knowledgeable and the dry needling has become my friend. This has made a HUGE difference for me and I cannot express how great the staff is as well. If you have ANY TMJ pain, don’t walk, RUN THERE. You will be glad you did.

Second, my therapist, Ed Foring, was a specialist in treatment of TMJ and he worked tirelessly and persistently to correct my problem. I was amazed at his skill and knowledge of TMJ. Ed and his team are top notch. They are great at telling you exactly what is going on and why they believe you are experiencing the pain you are. Very easy to talk to and very flexible in working around your schedule. Would recommend these guys to anyone that is experiencing any type of pain.

ProRehab makes an amazing product in their total contact, custom orthotics. Ed and the team take care of all facets of the acquisition process ... from securing a prescription from your physician (if needed), to estimating your personal expense depending on your insurance coverage, to casting your feet, and fitting the orthotic in your personal shoes. Ed is also available to make necessary adjustments as you get used to the feel of your orthotics.
My wife and I have consistently reaped the benefits of our orthotics since 2016. Mine were prescribed to correct my gait as a result of foot drop. They have properly supported my gait, and have made a huge difference in my lower back. My wife's were prescribed following a surgical repair for a torn peroneal tendon in her left ankle.
For the past five years we have worn our custom devices daily. They are the original sets, and we continue to benefit from them. As our bodies continue to age, and we develop other issues, Ed has been available to tweaked our devices in order to make necessary adjustments without casting for brand new orthotics. There was further evaluation and after trials with a few options, custom orthotics were recommended. He casted my feet for a custom mold. I returned to the clinic when the custom orthotics arrived with a lift to correct the leg length and he adjusted as needed for a comfortable fit. I knew there would be an adjustment period, and he was available as needed for questions or concerns. I wear them all the time and wish I had a second pair to rotate. Of late Ed has been helping me with a TMJ issue and while my dentist feels that the TMJ will not be corrected without surgery, and BTW she does not recommend the surgery, Ed has made every effort to help with the issue and has relieved a great deal of the popping in my jaw that I experience.
Overall, I would highly recommend Ed and the entire Prospect ProRehab team.

One of the best PT experiences I've had. I had weird and severe ongoing jaw and ear pain on one side, and had very restricted jaw mobility. This wasn't typical TMJ- grinding issues. My ENT & dentist were both baffled on the cause. Ed at ProRehab really came through for me. He took the time to fully listen to my story. He educated me on jaw anatomy & movement and the importance of related neck mobility and stretches. The on-site exercises and relaxation therapy he provided relieved my pain and jaw mobility issues over 5 visits. Having ongoing & future use of the ProRehab app with video instructions of my personal at-home exercises has enabled me to deal with any recurrences of weird jaw pain on my own. There's not alot of therapists specializing in jaw issues either, so I was very fortunate that my dentist recommended him to me. Thank you, Ed!

Ed was a great help with my TMJ issues. He was very patient and explained why my condition occurred and has helped me make improvements through a combination of approaches which included dry needling, targeted exercises/stretches, distraction methods (to stop clenching), and massage. He is very knowledgeable and I highly recommend him.

Ed is the best physical therapist who has treated me....and it’s been quite a few. The staff at Prospect is professional, respectful and friendly, no matter your age or level of athleticism—(I.e., if you’re 60 and not an athlete). They go the extra mile to communicate well and get their patients up and going.
