ProRehab Physical Therapy Named Official Sports Physical Therapy Provider in Exclusive Partnership with Bellarmine University

Keeping Knights in the Game

ProRehab Physical Therapy (PRPT), a Kentucky-based, private physical therapy practice group and member of the Louisville, Kentucky-based Confluent Health, has announced a new multi-year athletic partnership and sponsorship with Bellarmine University.

As a part of this new partnership, PRPT will serve as the official sports physical therapy provider for Bellarmine University’s athletic program through on-campus coverage needs, sports medicine, specialized practices, interventions, and consultations. This includes providing physical therapy services to Bellarmine athletes on campus and in PRPT private practice clinics. The physical therapy group will also sponsor digital promotions, in-stadium signage, and other media placements.

Co-owner and Regional Director of ProRehab Physical Therapy, Eric McElroy, PT, DPT, OCS, commented that the partnership with Bellarmine University is a natural alignment for getting athletes, as well as Louisvillians, and Knights sports fans, back in the game of life.

“As a Bellarmine Knights alumni, I am delighted to be elevating ProRehab’s long-standing partnership with Bellarmine Athletics,” McElroy, said. “Expanding our relationship to an official provider of sports physical therapy services and ramping up new sponsorships in Louisville reflects ProRehab’s continuing support of our community. We’re proud to be both cheerleaders and supporters of Knights Athletics.”

CEO and President of Confluent Health, Larry Benz, PT, DPT, OCS, MBA, MAPP, is also proud of the new sponsorship and opportunities that it provides Bellarmine athletics to get back in the game at full strength.

“Our vision for Confluent Health, and in turn PRPT, is to deliver the best care and results while treating patients like family,” said Benz. “ProRehab has a long-standing relationship with Bellarmine. We have been their clinical site partners and have taught within their nationally recognized physical therapy program since its inception. Both the athletics and fans of Bellarmine University and Knights Athletics feel like family, and we are humbled to provide direct sports physical therapy services to their athletics program in an official capacity.”

From sports injuries to chronic pain management and everything in between, PRPT helps Louisvillians maintain active lifestyles by avoiding diagnostics, surgeries and expensive, and sometimes addictive, medications.
